Ok I'll be the guinea pig and start it. There's been a little tube talk lately. The fun and of course the flaming rants. You know you've got some great action shots of the infamous tube wipeouts. Here are a few of my favorites from the last few seasons.

Simple formula for how to break up with girlfriend:
Step 1) Put on tube
Step 2) Add Water and Shake Well

Making sure the kids will sleep well later that night...

The girls take the wheel and take revenge on the guys...

Note - anyone posting photos of tubing on smooth glass conditions will be shot on site!

don't have a shot, but hit about 7ft up in a double tube a year ago. was riding with my bud's daughter(around 11). we flipped up, she was at the bottom, I was at the top, 7ft up. when I hit, went under, came back up and his daugher was crying. first thing was broken leg as she kept screaming "my leg, my leg". couldn't swim to her fast enough. my bud was driving the boat and as they came around, all I could hear him say over and over and over was "oh sh$t"...

good thing kids are resilient and quickly forget. she ended up a little bruised and beat up, limping for a day or two, but fine..

we have been careful after that, and the thing was, weren't going that fast, just hit the wake at the right time..

the infamous tube with 2 in it on a friday afternoon. lake was empty :)

the tube of choice for most... dubbed the taco bowl. no one has lasted a whole ride and not been ejected.

Don'yt have pics but do have a saying. You can't dump me from a tube??WRONG!!!!!! A tuber is 100% at the mercy of a driver who knows how to pull a tube. ITS not a matter of if ,more a matter of when!!!!
Learned years ago pulling a friend in an original Ski Biscuit some of the limits of what a tube and or willing tuber can tolerate. I USED to have a Foam Ski vest that i launched my buddy from a tube in,going in a loop. Went sailing aprox 30ft from tube before barrel rolling flipping etc TEARING Ski VEST in half. Straps only thing holding it together. My buddy luckily was only Dazed. Thought i killed him.
I ONLY ride in tubes with drivers i trust!!!! Never bet the driver you can last. I have NEVER lost that bet....

Growing up we didn't have these "fancy" tubes with the covers on them. We had to take the tube from a tractor and tie a ski rope around it. Nothing to hang on to and a nice little valve stim sticking out in the center. Nothing like getting off that ride at what seemed like 90 mph or getting pushed through the center by the other rider and coming out with a nice scrape down the side from the valve stim. We would always get back on and ride again. Hey, it wasn't a good ride unless someone bled. :D

It is actually towed behind behind my brothers Bennington 5.7L i/o pontoon. Decieving pic as he chopped the throttle which caused the rope to whip. Strange having a pontoon blow past you at 50+!
