Went from Boise to Hamilton Montana this weekend to pick up a new-to-us car for the gf. 700 miles round trip. ran into a snowstorm on the way up and got behind this dude. turns out that he went from hamilton to boise the prior day to pick up a 2000 centurion and was on his way back the day we went up. had a nice conversation in stanley at the gas station.. felt sorry for the boat tho. towing uncovered, it was caked with dirty snow, tons of sand on the road, he was in a new chevy 4dr diesel with somewhere around a 6" lift, 36" and didn't notice mudflaps. boat was 11 years old with 130 hrs.. followed him for 60 miles until station then left before him..

oh well :)

I would have either waited for better weather or store it and come back and get it. Boats are made to get wet but the human body isn't made to clean all day.

He could have atleast gotten shrink wrap from Costco to give it a little protection. I know what rocks and snow do to my truck, I could not put my boat thru that. That picture makes me sad inside.
