I want to install a heater on my boat. Does anyone know where a good place to get a kit is and does anyone have any insight on installing one?

I got mine from Barts. I installed it myself. I have a 2001 Mobius d-drive.
I put the heater under the dash towards the front, ran the hoses in the ski locker to the engine. I have to buy a special socket. On my engine there was a square plug, looks like a normal ratched willfit but a 3/8" ratchet is just a hair too big. I had to get the scoket from Snap-on.

It is not a hard install and we LOVE having the heater!

I installed mine the same way...through the ski locker upto under the dash.

Here is a great article

I think i got mine from skidim.com (its been awhile)

I added a couple of ball valves on the engine to cut off the water when I'm not using it, also put in a couple of quick-disconnects (from a water hose kit) in the ski-locker so I can drain it when putting up in the cold months.
