i'm looking to install one of these for my boat. i have two batteries. what amp and brand should i look to get?

lots of people seem to have the Prosports 2 bank charger, I picked one up at the recomendation of another member on here. Think Bassproshops have them for about $129. Got mine at west marine as I was there getting something else and they had them on sale

i see they come in 8, 12, and 20 amp chargers which one would you suggest?

mine was a 2 bank and pretty sure it was the 12 amp

I'd say go 20 amp if possible. I believe David from Earmark Marine said you need 10amps on the battery just to "wake it up" so to speak if you run the batteries way down. I guess though a lot depends on your playing habits and battery choice

If you are just running basic items without a lot of drain time, meaning your batteries are pretty well charged from running the boat without a heavy draw then a small one will work. If you have heavy draw items that run all the time when out then go with a bigger one.
Remember bigger is better if it is in your budget
