looking for new board

ok i know i'm gonna get 20 different opinions but thats what i'm looking for.
i have a cwb ride wake surf that i'm getting decent at. i can free ride for a good distance but haven't tried tricks yet... but if i look to upgrade to a better board what should i look for something shorter and or faster??
what makes inland surfers worth 500 plus bucks ?
any other brands you love or hate??

The IS boards are incredible. Lakewakes are a different style but awesome boards too. I just grabbed a TripleX board off ebay real cheap and love it. My only other board is a Hyperlite Broadcast and I doubt I'll ever ride it again.

Any recommendations for a beginner...at 200 lbs.

I'd love to find one that would be good for the kids starting at 125 up to my size...would go two if any has strong recommendations.

Just bought a 2008 LSV and getting ready to get a 750 rear sac replacement.

125 to 200 is a hard weight range for 1 board. You may need to go custom board. That would be thicker but not over 5 ft.

I got an Insland Surfer Blue lake and it suits nearly everyone. From 80 lbs up to 250lb people have ridden it.

I just got a new Slingshot Arcane that i can't wait to try out this spring. With the Bluelake surfing had almost lost its appeal because it's such an easy board to ride. Everyone who got the hang of it could ride as long as they wanted on it.

got an inland surfer 4-skim and it's a real nice board, slick as heck. has been used from 150 to 230lbs with good results. my daniello pro has held 150 to 210 and does well..
second kane's comment on triple xXx boards. going to hopefully add one to the arsenal this spring..


I haven't ridden my broadcast since '07, but did last fall when I started to learn to surf goofy :)
