Happy Texas Independence day Moomba owners! Celebrating 175 years since we kicked General Santa Annas butt at the Battle of San Jacinto near present day Houston and won our independence from Mexico. I am going home tonight and celebrating with an ice cold Shiner Bock, the Texas beverage of choice!

I love the Shiner bock but when I was in Austin I discovered the Black Lager. Now that stuff is downright amazing. May have to find some and hoist one with you.

Good thing the Mexican Army was asleep when the volunteers crawled their way up to them and surprised them. Happy birthday Texas. What a great country...I mean state.
