We're getting the light dust the last few days. I'm sure we're a couple weeks behind you. My one son is blowing his nose all day. My wife has had a headache every night-- although that's been true for about 10 years.

Pollen is bad right now here as my kids are struggling with it. Pollen however is nothing compared to Cedar that hits us every January in Texas. Never bothered me before but this year swollen eyes, couldn't breath, and actually missed a few days of work because of it. I went to the drugstore and all Allergy and Cold medicine was sold out. You think they would stock for the "busy" times of the year.

I think this whole area of Texas suffers in January because of it. I had never even heard of it until I moved down here.

skylar, that was one of the deciding factors on where to have the Texas Jam! I had some complaints about the Cedar around Austin and Lake Travis

Cedar is only in January! Gone by the first week of February. That was funny. After hearing all the reviews of Bethy Creek I am dying to go there.

Lake Travis is 56 degrees today. I know the guys up North will laugh at us but the kids start going in without wetsuits at 63. Couple more weeks! Boat got "Dewinterized" yesterday. (Made sure batteries could hold a charge and made sure the stereo still worked, all the important stuff)
