Just purchased a Moomba outback. I have owned a 1989 supra comp and have enjoyed this boat but we were ready for a new one. Looking forward to many many happy seasons on the lake her in NC. I should pick up my new toy this thursday and can't wait to have some fun on the water. If this boat is anything like my 89 comp, I am in for a treat.

Welcome, just remember that the Outback is a larger boat and the wake may be different than what you are used to.

You guys have some beautiful lakes out there. I'd consider heading up to meet all of you if you put something together.

Kane and Daze even if we don't get a mini jam together your more than welcome to come up or of you are in the area drop me a line and we go out on the water. I am always looking a reason to hit the water. The lake I go to has great camp grounds right on the water that you can pull boats right up to the sites.

That's my kind of camping! The best parks are the ones where you can park the boat at the campsite. I'm there.

whats the name of the lake?

Jordan lake its in central NC 14 miles long and over 1 mile wide in some places 60 ft. deep in the channel. We boat mostly in an area called Beaver Creek its made up of three large coves and ranges from 15-30 ft. deep. Almost all the lakes in NC are man made unlike FL. We usually camp a couple weeks a year there, but we pull our boat to Jordan 3-4 times a week. Its about 15 miles from our house.
