This is what Black Betty does in the boating off season.

This is a 28ft Onyx Rv with a slide out. weighed in around 8K and i puller it threw the Ashland mountain pass headed to Klamth Falls Oregon. Beautiful drive but dam glad i had 4x4 because the entire pass was covered in ice and snow.

Few more and to think this was just at the summit. I still had to go down and then back over this pass on the way home. I didn't think to snap some pics of the truck at home. I think i had a hundred extra pounds of ice. It was 4inches thick on my mirrors and in the fenders. I broke some off at the rest stops but even when i got back to Portland i could hear the tires rubbing ice on the turns. Just had to take it easy so nothing would get damaged.

I Know that pass. Not that bad of a drive. Did you come back from Klamath on 140 or 58? What this your first time towing over a snow pass? Next time you should give me a call on your way thru.

Jester we took 58 down to 97 so we got to drive by Dexter lake. It was an awesome drive. I was on a time line or i would have. I thought about you when i passed Eugene but i had to get the RV tot he dealer before 3pm and i wasn't sure how bad the pass would be.

LMB yea i wish i could be hauling my boat to the lake instead LOL.

IAN nope not mine bro. I run a private hauling business on the side. I haul anything except 5th wheel and Goose-neck for the right price. This was just a little side cash run.

Viking i wish we had winter like this is beautiful and would make the short summers not as painful having this to play in all winter LOL.
