Is 303 Protectant a good product to use on the vinyl? Does anyone know if it is approved or recommended by Moomba?

303 is good but does leave a little greasy feel. I now use Babes Seat Saver for UV protection and conditioner.

I love 303 but yeah it does make the seats slickery. Last year after I put the boat in the garage I decided to wipe down the seats as my wife was putting the kids to bed. Had a few brews while doing that. Shortly after I wiped them down with 303 I notice that I still had the pins from the swim platform in my pockets (have to remove platform to fit boat in garage). Well in the garage I don't have room to walk around to the back of the boat so I decided to lie down on my belly on the rear compartments and reach down put the pins in. WHOOP! I start sliding face first off the back of the boat. I'm not sure how I didn't break my neck- somehow I grabbed the rear grab handle on my way down. All I could think at the time was what a stupid way to check out.
and that's my best story about formula 303

Good stuff. They actually put a flyer for 303 in with all the manual propaganda in the owners kit. I use it all the time as well as others.

303 really smartened up my vinyl after first using some cleaner, I also wiped down the gel coat with some 303 before putting her into storage and wow did it ever shine it up!

I used to use the 303 but quit due to the slipperyness. I went to Malco topped with Babes and never looked back. Seats always look like new.

Malco for a good spring cleaning. Then 303 and babes during the season to keep it maintained. Don't overuse Malco (but it is great stuff).

That's pretty much my approach too.

The last interior I had put in an old I/O I owned, the guy said to use scrubbing bubbles like you clean a bathroom with. It cleans and protects the vinyl great. He swore by it and I've been using it for three years with great results. Just a suggestion though.

I use a product called Vinyl Sauce made by Boat Bling and really like it. It doesn't feel greasy and seems to do a great job of protecting the interior. They also have a wipe down wax for when you pull the boat on the trailer call Hot Sauce and I really like that product as well.
