Took these pictures today. Good show, but still not what it was five years ago. Nothing remarkable or new in the way of boat design or features. Still think it would be cool to own a center console boat for bigger water fun. Enjoyed saying hello to the good folks at the Skiers Choice booth, staffed by guys from the Lauderdale Lakes Marina and Ultimate Wake Watersports dealerships. Saw the setup for the Rail Jam, but did not see the show. I did catch the dog jump competition. Man, that is fun to watch. Plans for a 2011 summer slalom ski weekend w/ top level gear, private lake, and qualified coaching is moving forward. Will be located in the Chicago area. More details after the boat shows are over. Enjoy the pics.

BTW- what you think of the MC tower?
It's a combination of the evil bug in a Transformer movie and garage door parts. I can't imagine paying $80,000 for a boat with that contraption. I like towers that incorporate function, nice lines, and smart engineering. This MC tower is not it. I took the picture just because it is (in my opinion) sooo ugly.

I don't like the looks of that tower, but function cant' be denied. One touch and it lowers with no hassle or need for another person.
My tower is probably 200 lbs lighter and it takes two people and a balancing act to fold it forward. The whole design is enough that I would not purchase the boat again because of it's function and space. A tower that extends past the boat when folded, who's idea was that?

I agree on the tower - typical M/C big, gaudy and overpriced IMHO...
and hey what's wrong with red and black!!! ;)

nice pics- thanks for posting. I had fun at that show last year and bummed I couldn't make it this year- but wifey and I are getting ready to head to Savannah (without kids!) to celebrate 10 yrs or marriage
Keep me posted on the slalom event- I definitely want to make that but will need a month or two notice to make sure I don't have to work.

That's amazing, after 10 years and kids you can still celebrate.

Hoop - Thanks for posting. Glad you and your son made it to the show and got to see the rail jam in person. Sorry we did not have a chance to meet while you were in town. - Deerfield

The MC power tower doesn't follow the boat lines at all it looks like a add on. At the Atlanta show they lowered it. Even when fully lowered it is still at least 1 foot above the windshield. All that for a low 8k add on. The new Moomba tower never looked that good on a BU.

That is why I like my LSV, it folds backwards, not forwards! lol
