My gf ordered me a wetsounds XS-12 for my birthday. Now I'm trying to figure out which of these two amps to go with. Both have the same specs I'm just trying to get some input from people who may have used either one and how they liked it.

I havent looked at the links yet, but is it a D2 or D4 XS-12?

Dual 4 and I plan on running it at 2 ohms.
Both will do 500x1 @ 2 ohm, but at quick glance, the Class-D Alpine edges out the Class-B JL.

Being Class D the Alpine is more efficient and will consume less amperage to produce its power.
Skip over the JL J2, as it is discontinued, and go to the current 500 watt JL Audio J'X' monoblock. This newer version is a nice improvement and stands out (lots of beef) in its price bracket. Also provides the option of a bass level controller.
Either amplifier is going to be a good match with your 2-ohm sub.
