skiing texas lakes in march

We are thinking of going to Texas in March to ski and wakeboard. I am looking at Martin Creek Lake in Tatum and Fairfield Lake in Fairfield. Both have power plants so the temps should be higher than unheated lakes. We live in Kansas and it gets depressings just looking at the boat out in the snow all winter. Does anyone have any experience with these lakes in March. Thanks
