DVD to itunes

Anyone know how to do this. I got a skiing (TGR light the wick)movie for xmas from my girls and want to load it onto my ipod for my trip out west on the 17th. i assume you pop it in the drive and itunes would automatically copy it. NOT Help please....

hi there, the easiest thing would be to get a dvd ripper program. do you have a mac or pc?

a pc , any good free versions or just step up and buy a good one.

some are 29.99 to 50.00 bucks for basic ones, pricey to copy a movie that you bought onto an ipod or ipad that i also own:(

I use Handbrake and love it. I have a Mac, but pretty sure it works with pc's as well.

+1 for handbrake. It's got presets for iPod etc
