I currently own a 2007 Ronix Vault & Cabal bindings.
I want to upgrade to something newer and I'm looking at the Mana, but unsure on what boots I want.
I see that Ronix went to the "baseless" boots in 2009 I believe.
I'm wondering if the new baseless boots would work on an older Ronix board and if older boots (with base) would work on a newer board?
I'm not sure if the new boards are made different to fit the baseless boots.
Also, how is the sizing on the closed toe boots? I usually wear a 9 in shoes and wonder if I would need to get a 10 in the boots?
Thanks

The new (09 forward) boots have a 6 inch hole pattern versus the older 8 inch but come with adapters and either binding will fit on either board, there may be a couple less stance width options.

I wear size 9 shoes and 9 in Ronix Boots. The are far and away, the best boots I have owned. I have a pair of 09 cells and I have a pair of brand spanking new 2011 One's just waiting for summer.

You will love these boots, they are so comfortable and light.

The Ronix boots seem to run pretty true to size. I wear a 13/14 depending on brand in shoes and wear a 13/14 in the 2010 Ronix Relik boots I have. Take a look on Ronixs website to see which binding will have the stiffness or loosest fitting for what you like. Personally I would go with the Ones or the Reliks. Also you shouldn't have a problem getting them to fit any more with the extenders that come with them.
