Yeah, you may want to double check that. The rad-a-cage tower on the OBV like KSmith & I have is 1 5/8" and I think the LSV is 2 3/8"

Oh, well that's what I get for listening to the sales man. Sorry about that, I was told the Outback V had 1 5/8 and the LSV was 1 7/8... Grrr...

Anyone know the diameter of an '05 LS Rad-A-Cage?

Is it 1-5/8" or 2-3/8"

Why wouldn't they just use the same tower for all of the models?

if your tower folds twords the bow-it's the smaller size 1 5/8

if your tower folds twords the stern-it's the larger size 2 3/8

Excellent! 1 5/8 it is! Mine folds toward the bow...I wish it went toward the stern. Thanks!

I'm looking for a tower mirror and a surf rack...Haven't yet come across a 1 5/8" clamp. Many have 1 1/2. There is only an eighth difference would a 1 1/2" clamp work?

Advantage's to both-the forward folding is completly out of the way when working in the boat but a pain in the ass to fold. The rear folding is much easier to fold down but then needs to be proped up out of the way when in the boat working on it.

One word of advise if you fold your tower forward and have a mirror--get a quick disconect from someone like monster tower as the mirror will hit when folded down

Check out monstertower.com

they have a nice looking surf/wakeboard combo rack that you can order with universal tower mounts and they also have a great qucik-connect mirror.

I think both of these are on my "but, we need these, honey" list :p

Yeah I saw that mirror...I'm not sure if I like the single arm... I found one that I like on ebay, it's from Liquid Audio Sounds. I contacted the seller to see if he had a 1 5/8 clamp and he said a 1 3/4 clamp would work...not too sure about that. What do you all think?

I found a mirror on DIYwake.com that is 1 5/8 it has the articulating arm...any suggestions?

I have the Monster mirror arm. I am very happy with it. Also have the ski rack from them it was another good choice. They both come off easy. The mirror is rock solid and does not shake at all. And I have never had one come loose or fall off in 5 seasons. Monster gave me an insert kit for the clamp for all size towers it works well and looks good to.
