With the boat winterized and all the wakeboard & surfing gear packed away, we turn to 4 wheelers for entertainment at the lakehouse. The girls have a blast riding and this weekend it rained overnight on Saturday. Nothing doubles up the fun than some mud!

Temps in GA dropped to an unseasonable low and the wind was howling so with the wind chill it felt like it was only in the teens. My girls are pretty tough, but after 4+ hrs of riding, they didn't last long with the clean up (go figure). So, I was out in the sleet washing the toys off before putting them away.

Wolfeman, the kids are having a blast and getting some mud too. I know that feeling as I got out today before the rain and snow starts this weekend. Dirt biking has taken the slack when the boat is put away and makes the winter go by faster. I met up with a friend who skipped out of work early and tracked me down in a place that is almost 20,000 acres. We he showed up, I had to put the camera away and get serious. The only Moomba that gets around this time of year is the Roo on the back of the Blazer.

she actually mentioned that herself when we all got back with huge smiles on our faces, so maybe Santa will get one in the sleigh for her.

Wolfeman,

Now that's what I am talking about!!! Cold, muddy, a awesome powerline. What can be better than this in the winter time!!! I am going to have to show my daughter these pictures.
I think you will make Sled proud of the Brand you ride also!! We moved down here with 2 Artic Cats and one little Suzuki 4 wheelers but sold them due to no place to ride! We also sold our 2 dirtbikes also (KTM, and Maico). I still have a Honda 50 but it is too small now for anyone to ride. The Florida Panhandle is about 80% owned by the St. Joe paper company and they have it locked down solid.

No if I can only talk the wife into a Ducati!!!!
But again Awesome Pictures!!!!

Speaking of forgiveness, we've got a pretty cool place to ride. We have a 4 acre lot that backs up to the greenspace of a new very expensive riverfront subdivision. The subdivision has a total of one house in it due to economic times being tough. So there are acres and acres of unimproved land with dirt/grass access roads cut through all the way out to the Ocklocknee River.

^^ I'm feeling a roadtrip coming on soon!

Thanks for all the other comments. It's fun that I always wanted to have when I was a kid, but my folks just couldn't afford those kinds of toys. I brought a newer 90 home for my younger daughter yesterday and she loves it. It was fun (kinda) telling her that it costs more than my first 2 cars - COMBINED!

Thanks! After we got the 4-wheeler for Christmas I had to go find a little trailer to carry all the toys out there. The hitch-hauler just won't cut it anymore. Found a nice little 4x8 one with the ramp gate. Now I store all the toys right in the trailer and park it in the same spot in the garage where I was storing the bikes. No loading-- just hitch and go.

Grant - I'm not sure that I'd call that fun.

Maybe if there were a few beers chillin' in that pile of white stuff behind you, I could change my mind.

Amen! I wouldn't mind playing in the snow for a day but after that I would need my 70's degrees back!

Ya it was a pretty big dump of the lovely white stuff... and as icing on the pile it's dropping to -30 deg C this week. Time to plan a trip South!!!

From my understanding, Florida is currently the only state not touched by snow. You guys can't get anything right!

49 out of 50 states!!

Lesson to self - don't read moombadaze's posts to wife. . .

Thanks Daze for helping me spend my money! :p

Here is the new lineup. Youngest daughter wanted one to match mine, oldest wanted one to match mama's. Yep, I own 2 PINK ATV's.

Somebody help me, please!

Note that only my 3 yr old son is in the background (by small red 4 wheeler) with the brush to clean these off?

well here is some of our fun:

love it!!!

Remind me of when my dad tied our O'Brien tube to the back of his Yamaha Phazer and whipped us around out on the frozen lake in MI...We'd slide forever when he whipped us off! You think a boat can whip a tube? It was scary!!! Yes, we wore full-face helmets ;)

Love it. My daughter (5) says she wants pink plastics on "her" dirtbike... I said when whe starts riding it by herself I'll get them for her (she's still got the training wheels on), but momma don't want her riding. I'll get her riding though ;-)
