I'm upgrading to perfect pass this winter and wondering if it uses the stock paddle wheel or if you have to install a new one.

Also if it does use the stock paddle wheel is it a plug and play installation like stargazer is?

You're going with a paddle wheel Perfect Pass instead of the Stargazer?

Yeah the river where I ride has a slight current and sometimes a pretty swift current.

Wouldn't the paddle wheel version allow me to see water temperatures as well?

I was told that all PP offers now is stargazer. I am having it installed this month by the dealer that sold me the boat and that is what he told me. I was told wrong???

NEVER trust a dealer on aftermarket parts. They don't do near the research we do on these forums. My dealer told me the 565lb ballast sacs were the biggest that could fit...whatever, 1100lb sacs FTW!!! Also, told me only an XLV Z-5 rack ($2,495 + tax and shipping) would fit my tower...whatever, Supra 22SSV Z-5 ($1,600 shipped from another source) is on my tower.

I am running the wakeboard pro paddle wheel on my lake/river as well. I prefer it to star gazer and yes I can get water temperatures.

This is great news. Is wakeboard pro cheaper than stargazer?
