It will happen for me soon too, but I am still holding out hope for one more weekend. Last Sunday was great! Riding a wakeboard through a field of fallen autumn leaves was memorable.

As I was doing it, I was thinking that it was the only time that I wish I had a helmet cam. My friends might have gotten a shot of it from the boat, but their camera ran out of memory during my run. I'll see if there was a lucky shot.

Joe,
Did you check with My Guy in Bloomfield? I assume you took yours to Silver Lake?
I dropped mine off Wednesday Eve.

Brad, where you been? Yes its at SL, about the same cost, maybe look at something bigger in the spring, who knows. My buddy stores his 86 supra comp in bloomfeild. rough sept/oct should have done it labor weekend . hindsight is 20/20.

still have to get together at some point, we won't close the cottage til mid late Nov. I'll be in Boston next week for an industry conference.

Darn it. There was no camera coverage of the fallen leaves. It did capture some nide backgrounds though. Water temperature: 45F.

We'll take your word for it. You look like you're ready to compete against Shawn White.

Thanks! Although I have all the gear to negate cold water and make me brave when there is a crash risk, a tricky leg has really hampered me this year. I'm all show and barely any go. I was finally starting to get the hang of getting some pop off the wake after re-learning from scratch, but the last month has been useless. Still, I love to get out and ride around, especially if there are bragging rights for doing it so late in the season here in Ottawa.

Conditions were excellent with no wind today, but we couldn't get on the water because we could not find a 3rd. Winterisation happens next week, so that's it for the wakeboarding season!
