New ACME prop showed up today. I'll have to try it out over the weekend.

Pic says it's the #1161 13.50x16 .0135 cup. Kind of an odd size, why that one Kane? Btw i tried PM you and your mailbox is full.

That's the same prop I have except I mine has 0.105 cup. Below is a link to a test I did on this prop. It's a great upgrade over the stock one, but not as radical as any of the 14x14 variant. Great for more holeshot with no reduction in top speed and less fuel burn than the 14x14 props.

You're boat is going to perform better than new. Notice how smooth it operates and notice how calm the prop wash is.

For some strange reason I just think you might like that one :D

It's so pretty you almost hate to put that under the water where nobody can see it :)

Insurance got me a new prop after the rock strike. I sent it back and exchanged for this one. Based on all the prop testing this is what will work best for what we do. It's the one Daze has and we already know it has good hole shot, top end, etc. and is very quiet. It throws a nice surf wake too.

Insurance? Dont' you have a deductable? Or did you have alot more damage? I would think a prop and deductable would be about the same?

I rebuilt my OJ 14x14 prop for $200 after I hit a log.

Uhhhh, there was a lot more damage. Scraped the hull up front and all the way back. New shaft and strut too.

I think you have my next prop. Wonder if the .150 cup would give better top end or would it drag and or slip more than the .135?

I didn't get out over the w/e to try it out. Couldn't get anyone to go. It was sunny and 82 with water temps around 69.
