I have an 08 LSV and the rubber surface on the swim platform is junk. Tracks black footprints and is coming off (sliding back). Could anyone recommend a quality aftermarket replacement?

I have had both the gator grip and the sea dek. The gator grip will save you a little money and it's nice stuff. But for just a little bit more you can get the seadek and you will be SO GLAD you did. There's nothing like the stuff.

Two words

SEA DEK !!

Actually it might be one word. I had the same issue with black tracking in the boat. I looked at gator grip, its cool but pretty plain. SEA DEK is the stuff, easy to install and it looks soooooo sweeeeeeeet!!

Yes, easy to install. But getting the old black rubber pad off is not easy. Have patience. It will come off.

It's really not that bad. At least it wasn't for me. Toughest part is getting some of the residual glue off. I used GooOff and then followed up with some mineral spirits to prep the surface before installing the seadek. You won't regret the upgrade.
