my outback is now the "official towboat" of other vessels :)

A bunch of us went out boating through The Gates of the Mountains and 1 of the 4 boats decided to stall on the lake this past saturday. Had to tow him in. I think his out-drive gears got all mangled up? Anyhow, glad we were all in a convoy at the time. We were a few miles in and not many vessels to be seen!

viking - Nicely done! Did you pull from the tow pylon or transom lift rings? - Deerfield

I realy enjoy towing other boats. this gives me a chance of showing other people how my rig is powerfull. The other day i even broke the 20 mph barrier while towing a 18' seadoo boat. And i always tow from transom lift rings, except one time because it was an emergency...

I never hesitate to give someone a tow. I think we have all been there needing the free ride back to the ramp.

How about members posting up some pics of your "tow boat" doing the work :) Let's see some other proof of good deeds

I've towed in 2 boats, but never bothered to take pics. not something that I figure I'll look at again, not to mention it might be embarassing for the towed party. figure I'll be there someday and really don't want my pic all over a mastercraft board with a bunch of boobs saying how lame skiers products are :) figure that would erase all the good karma built up from a tow..
my .02 anyways.....

ha ha - that's funny. i just figured it'll happen to me someday but I can say "ya, but I've towed 12 in and only got pulled once!" Gotta have proof or it never happened right?

I have pulled in 3 - two of which were fishing boats - now that is some good karma. For one of the two fishing boats I had to put in off my lift in order to tow them. And also rescued a jetski couple whou could not get back on the jetski for some reason... no alcohol involved.

You know I think it is maritime law that you must come to the aid of boat in trouble - amazing how many people will ignore someone clearly in trouble.

Ran across a beautiful, red 05 (?) LSV on the lake today with the rear hatch popped and the driver's head buried down by the engine. It wasn' real hot today, but I thought maybe the vapor lock had caught them, so we idled up and hollered, "Need any help?" Guy pops his head out of the engine compartment and says, "Yep. You got an extra one of these?" and holds up a broken belt. Said that one was brand new. I didn't have one, but will add one to the box of supplies in the shed.

I keep the spare on the boat where I can do an on-water remove and replace if needed.

Yeah only shots from the neck up are recommended, however I like the total contents of this picture. Towing another boat, pretty girls and those cool new Pepsi cans. We don't have those here yet?

Mississippi Pepsi is great I personally don't find it much different than a picture of me holding a beer I mean surely there are women who have boats that are on here lol.

Used to be but they are Long Gone! The complaint I often heard was too many nasty pictures of dudes on here! :p

Is this according to Shaira Law or what? I thought Moomba's were manufacutred in the US and not in the Middle East. Talk about a double standard for women....

I think if we can't post pictures of women in Bikinis then no shots of guys with their shirts off either.

What is not allowed is starting a thread which has the sole purpose of showing off cheesecake.

Ok so i guess i just need to start a thread like "Post a pic of how translucents your windshields are" ;)

We don't want to be the reason young lads are spending too much time in the bathroom

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-laughing001.gif now that's one of the funniest things I've read all day.

you are never more than 2-3 clicks away from porn, and if they happen to stop here, they got on the wrong bus...

Whats funny is watching my 8 & 10 yr old boys watch a movie that has girls in bikinis. Man they just want to crawl into a blanket and hide they get so emberrassed. :) Funny because my wife and her sister are always in bikinis in our boat and I have half the lake staring at our boat, but see it on TV and they are...well just little boys

I pulled a MC TT edition today, I will post pics when my buddy sends them over to me :)

Yeah my son won't hardly speak of his girl friend! We have to find out information from his buddies.
In the same way I am being shy too by not sharing a secret. At the Triathlon the girls started to swim 3 minutes after the men left. That meant several very well toned girls caught up with me in the swim to bike transition. You want to know why I shattered my bike average mph record? Lets just say that it really motivated me to stay with a certain group of highly trained athletes!!!
