New prop

I dinged my prop on my boat lift:-(
there`s more damage to the lift then the prop well it looks like no damage to the prop just aluminum marks on the tips of blades but there was just a little vibration so i ordered a new one.

question is can i change prop on lift if yes how do i hold the prop from turning.

the prop shouldn't spin when you try to take it off. It's on a keyed shaft i just used a piece of wood put up against the prop and tapped it with a hammer until it came loose on the shaft... I'd be more worried about losing the nut in the water.. lol
