Demo boards in Houston area?

With the big selection of boards available, I'd like to try a few before buying a new one. Does anyone know if you can rent them in the Houston (or Austin, will be there this weekend) area? Currently have a Broadcast but want a faster more advanced board. Was leaning towards the IS Black Pearl mainly due to size (fits in racks).

In Austin you should call Austin Surf Company, they shape their boards locally. Also, there are a few shops that carry surfboards and they may have demo boards: South Austin Marine, Sail & Ski Center, Central Texas Watersports, and Boat Town.

Where do you ride in houston?

We ride on the San Bernard River. We live near Sugarland area, if you're ever available for a tour of the Trinity or SJ I'll take you up on it. Heard a lot of horror stories if you don't know where to go. Also, you should make the trip to the SBR sometime.
