Well I just purchased a 06 lsv, got it on the river and went to tie up to my buddies sea Ray, and realized there are no cleats.:( So my question is if anyone has added cleats to their boats, or what everyone does to tie up?

did you try a search?

There are several threads on members adding "pop-up" cleats. They either use OEM ones through the dealer or buy on ebay or online retailers.

Definitely add cleats. You'll pay a premium from the dealer but they will be laser etched with the Moomba logo. Or go ebay and get the same thing without the etching and save some cash. Either way, definitely add them.

No cleats here. I tie off at the tower and the transom tie-down. I do have locking fender cleats for the rear bumper.

Watch Ebay, last off season I saw some OEM cleats from an old dealer running them for....I THINK...$20 a set. I beleive it was Surfside Marine out of the Pheonix area. May want to try and call them.

I find it hard to believe that a 2006 LSV did not come with cleats standard from the factory. This is probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway - are you sure you don't have pop up cleats??

Check harbor freight. they have decent pop-up cleats for under $10 each!
Easy install as long as your not afraid of power tools!

Who needs cleats when you have a lift :D

And to answer your question, no they are not standard.

Hard to believe as in, why didn't it come with cleats, not that u r lying :-). Mine has pop up cleats but I would have thought that regular cleats would be standard equipment on any newer boat. I stand corrected.

Still can't believe cleats are an option, and that someone would order a boat without them. Well, the good thing is that SC put the from cleat in a strange place, makin them difficult to access so u can put them where it's more convenient.

If I bought a new boat, I doubt if I would spend money to have them if they were an option.

I would! A boat without cleats is a royal pain if you tie-up with any frequency.
