Impeller problem

I replaced my impeller today. The old has most of the rubber wings worn off. Where are they? And how dow I clean them out. 05 supra 21 350 assualt

In the last 20+ years of owning inboards I too have replaced impellers that had the end of the vanes worn off. I would suspect that you slowly wore them down and that there are no large parts in the system, just dust that got washed through the system and out the tail pipes. I never saw any, unless you actually see where it looks like chunks tore or were ripped off.
