My daughters bday is coming and she wants a surf board, something economical, beginner to intermediate, cool looking and most important "blue"

FYI under 100lbs

My kids all sub 100lbs ride the scamp. Cost me $200. Ours is orange and purple. Awesome board

Wife is 120lbs and rides it too. Well over the max rating but she's learning to edge much better. We have a Drew Carbon small for when they get bigger but much more $$$

We use a hyperlite 4'4". Multi colored inculding blue. If you have a good teacher it will be more economical to stay with a shorter board then to buy a large one & once she is good enough to go to a smaller one.

I got it at the local wakeboard shop, Wakeside Marine. They're actually a Nautique dealer. They always get me hella deals on anything I buy, good group of guys.

Lawdog, i spoke to Mike at wakeside marine, no phase 5 in inventory, did try to get me in a SAN 22:D. Great guy and we spoke about 15 to 20 minutes about surfing.. funny he is about 30 minute from my in laws...

They are a good group of guys. I'll keep my eye out for any good deals and let you know what I find. Where you in-laws from?
