I am new to Moomba but not to boating. I recently decided to trade in a 26 foot chaparral for a wake boarding boat. The dealer Atlanta Marine told me they had this boat on order and arriving Monday so of course I jumped on it. Ask what ever questions you have (upgrades, changes) about the new line but being new to Moomba I don't know how much I can help you. Here are some pictures.

I started reading the forum a few weeks ago so I knew everyone was super excited for the 2011 line to come out. One of my good friends turned me on to Moomba's a few years ago so I cant wait until I tell him tomorrow. The boat is still at the dealer getting a few things put on it such as more speakers, transom remote, depth finder, and docking lights. I have been pleased at the over all high regard everyone has for the brand of Moomba and their boats. They seem to hold up quite well. I will answer what ever I can about the new LSV..

Looks great! I'd like to see those rear mobius lsv graphics a little closer. Are they drip molded vinyl like the transom badge?

I love that color pattern. I'm a big fan of grey and red. Is there no mirror? If it is, is it a windshield mount or is there a tower version?

Is it just me, or does the 2011 Mobius look like a direct copy of the 2006 Wakesetter VLX?

It's just you. An Illusion style tower does not make a direct copy.

Dan,

You better plan to get to Atlanta Marine REAL EARLY on Monday morning so I don't beat you there and steal that boat away from you!! :)

Great boat from a great dealership. Congrats and enjoy! Let me know if you want to come down to Sinclair and let me show you how to drive an inboard - he, he, he . . .

We will actually keep the boat at Lake Oconee. We will pick up the boat tomorrow (Saturday) and then take it to its new home on Oconee. You take your boat to Atlanta Marine for service?

Ya I realized it would be the first one posted on the forum a few days ago. The dealership actually had to twist Moomba's arm to get the boat delivered.
We like the trailor. To bad we will actually never use it much.

There is a windshield mount mirror. Tomorrow when I pick the boat up I will make sure to snap a photo with the mirror....

The bottom of my last boat was white and this one has the gray color on the bottom. I am looking forward to hopefully not having the boat look dirty all of the time.

Engine: Indmar Assault 340 HP Catalytic 5.7L MPI w/Digital Cruise (req. in CA)

That is the one we got. 340 horse power. Should that be enough?

Yep - only time my boat is on the trailer is to get it to and from Atlanta Marine and storage during the winter. Service has been excellent from Atlanta Marine. If I ever have an issue about what they did, why it cost what it cost, etc. they walk me through everything. Heidi is awesome to work with if you're going to take it over there. Call her ahead of time and she can usually set up a time that works for you so that you can drop the boat off, head to the Mall of GA for some shopping or lunch, then pick the boat back up and head to the lake.

I'm sure pulling that Razorback red boat makes that purple Navigator look much better. :)
