How are they compared to the stock kickers in the lsv?

what year are your kickers . big difference from the kenwoods to the polks, not sure if its a big diiference from the kickers you have to the polks.. my .02

i tested them side by side at Circut city before they folded and they sounded fairly close, but those kickers at CC were not marine rated so hence the polks, take a roller over the bow once in a while...

kickers are probably 09 in my boat as its a 2010 that was built over the winter.

The kickers in my roswell tower are km620.2 and look identical to the in boat units.

are they coax in the boat or seperates? the kicker marine spec on the 6200 are close to the polks.

They are seperates but look like coax because the tweeter sits in a cup on the speaker grill. If you take the tweeter out there is no extended voice coil where normal coax speakers would have the tweeter mount.

No deal for CDN's

I emailed them and they are going to see if they can work something out in the future.

The invoice for 3 sets is 149.97 shipped. If someone plans on buying these you can get $20 off that price as well if I give you a referral and you spend over 200 bucks.

Not unless you have a brother-in-law who lives in Portland! ;)

Question...

are these Polks really any better sounding than the Kicker KM613's??

God yes, the stock Kickers sound horrible above low level volume. I had them for a couple weeks before I got the Bullet HP 6.5 speakers

The DEAL is back. A bunch of us picked these up last fall/early spring. $150 for a set of 3 with free shipping is a great deal. Well worth the money and them some imo.

Thats odd, mine sound pretty good. I played with the crossover a bit though, because from stock nothing was set properly.

I've always been an audio junkie when it came to my cars/truck so naturally when I got a my Moomba I knew I would upgrade. The stock speakers IMO are junk compared to what's available. The Kickers sound "dirty" at cruising speeds. Just floating in a cove they are adequate/decent.

also earmark audio has them bundled for three pair at 189.00

or buys ed's kickers for a bargain 6 for 100.00

Too many mixed reviews on the kickers, the boat currently has kenwood's but I don't know if they're any good or not.

The Kickers are slightly better than the Kenwoods but the Polks are much better than the Kickers. I would use the Polks without hesitation if I were strapped for cash or just found that highend audio speakers are not that important.
