Hey fellas, i have a 2001 Mobius, and the stock rear bag is not filling anymore, though the pump still seems to be working (rule 2000). I disconnected the fill line from the bag and turned on the pump and no water would come out. Though i could feel pressure in the line just before what appears to be some sort of inline valve. So im assuming that this valve is the problem?? Can anyone tell me what this valve is called? Its about 6inches long, white plastic, about 1 foot down stream of the pump. Is this a marina part or can i find somewhere else and save a few bucks? Thanks in advance...J

I believe it is an irrotrol sprinkler valve. You can get them at home depot or any hardware store that sells underground lawn sprinklers or online. Make sure you get the 3/4 inch as your boat with not have the 1 inch lines.

I had to replace two of mine on my lsv this year.

More than likely it is an Orbit or similar sprinkler valve. Many of us have used the Irritrol 700 series valves as replacements and have experienced quicker fill times with this valve.

Maybe a one-way check valve then.

Yeah it is a check valve. I took everything apart yesterday and cleaned it out. The valve was ok, i think maybe a zebra mussel was limiting the flow of the pump and it couldnt create enough pressure to overcome the valve. But all is good now!

There you go! Sometimes it's the easy thing. Not very often, but sometimes!

Oh, figured id post this... this is exactly what i have. Could be useful for others and future builds.

That's a nice valve and a good price. Guess you need to keep them clean. ;)
