RIP Slingshot board

This happened over the weekend. I sent an email off to Slingshot so I am hoping they step up and help me out in getting a new board. The crash wasnt that bad at all. I was cutting into the wake and caught an edge and the binding ripped out of the board.

Me neither. I am hoping SS steps up and helps me out some. I really like their boards!!!

Is this a flex board? I'm thinking that because of the construction and lightweight material, strength may be compremised...just a thought. I do want a slingshot board though.

This was a flex board. SS hooked me up and gave me a 2009 response for $150. I thought that was a very fair deal considering this was an 08 board that broke.
