Hi there.
I have a LSV -08 with the 325.
What have you guys done to reduce the noise from the exhaust pipes? Is the FAE the only possible solution or is there anything else you can do? I really like my boat but the engine noise is really annoying when you try to talk while driving.

Mike,

I have the FAE and that was the main reason for getting it. Makes the boat super quiet at "no wake" speeds, and quiet enough when surfing to talk to the surfer.

Exhaust noise? These boats don't have any exhaust noise. I am trying to figure how to make my boat sound right like the late 80's ski boats did. Any one remove their mufflers?

Right click, copy, save as "name". Right click on saved file, "open with" Paint. Image, stretch skew (fill in lower % for each value). Save. Post.

I can't see where these silent ride tips would work real well with the wakeplate in the way?

I looked at that too. Does it look to you like the angle of the cut at the end of the opening would match the angle of the wakeplate in the "all the way up" position?

I have had to replace the exhaust flappers 2x this season(don't ask). with the wakeplate all the way up, those turndowns would just plug up as the plate would be up against them. not sure if you could make them longer and turn them down after the wakeplate, but I think that would look goofy..

Thanks for all the replies! I would have liked to find something cheaper than the FAE, I will land on roughly 700$ with shipment and Swedish taxes for the FAE:( But it seems what IŽll end up with.
