Sorry, the other post didn't work for some reason...

but my question was: Is it possible to use the existing paddle wheel on my 2001 kamberra when installing perfect pass, so i dont have to drill a hole? also, would i be able to install Perfect pass by myself with a little help?

thanks.

Preston, if you have a transom mounted paddle wheel, it will not work with the perfect pass system, you will have to install the thru-hull style wheel. The transom wheel does not have the correct wiring for tempature and the speed changes in turns, which will affect the brain box by massive surging. The install is not dificult, nor is the wiring, just a little time consuming. You can leave the old paddle wheel on and disconnected or remove and patch the holes once the new system is installed. Please email [email protected] with make/model/engine info/name and phone/fax no. They have easy install instructions as well as diagrams for the thru-hull cut out and for the wiring info.Brian Raymond
