First half of today it was just myself and a friend on the boat before the other half of our crew showed up. I've been experimently with ballast set ups in my '08 XLV. 1100lb rear sacs, 1180 center, plus two 400lb sacs to place here and there. I already had a tall, steep wake with some decent push but wanted alot more push even though I know I would sacrifice size. Well I found one way to alot more push and a longer pocket. Filled the starboard 1100lb completely, about 1/2 to 3/4 in the center, one 400lb sac on the starboard side floor, AND then filled the opposite 1100 with about 300lbs. The wake was steep but not too steep with just a hint of a curl to it when we followed the curved shoreline. I don't know how tall it was exactly (once again, no one took pictures even though two people had cameras) but I'm 6'00" and I could squat on the board and get my head in the curl. Pretty fun wake.

Exactly.

Once your boat has a good lean, it's about sinking it more for the push.

Want the curl and push far back in the wave: turn to the opposite side of the wave.

How do you get 1180 in the center? Do you have a bow sac too? And where do you position your wakeplate?

There's an 1180 sac available through Wakermakers for the XLV and Supra 24SSV. Wakeplate 3/4 up or all the way up
