Buy one 2 years old with 70 hours on it. Mine was practically brand-new with almost every option, and several upgrades. I bought it for $29k.

Let someone else take the depreciation hit.

Just my 2c

We bought ours for 35,000 in 2008 and it was a 2006 with less then 80 hours. It now has 300+ hours on it and we haven't had any issue (knock on wood.)

There are a lot of reasons to buy new. Needless to say mine is loaded from the trailer on up, and you can't buy a ski wake boat in Canada cheap. Especialy new.

Sure, there are plenty of reasons but do they out weigh losing 10 grand as soon as you leave the lot?

Ended up picking up a 2005 LSV with 75 hours on it for 26500. I thought it was a decent deal. It was stored indoors so the boat is immacualte. Took it out this weekend and the impeller went on me though. Oh well, wasnt overheating on the test drive so Im pretty sure this is just coincidence.

Bought out LSV new in 09 sticker shows 52K With our Z5 added, sub upgrade, and duel batteries we towed her home for less then 40K .3 hours was showing on the meter.

Damn a lot of people in this thread paid more for an LSV than I did for the XLV.

Yea has to do with the market and the demand. The LSV is a much more popular boat and demands a higher price and its a 21.6 boat and fits almost all the lake restrictions.

Plus it fits in most modern garages, and is easier for a gas truck to pull.

If we could have fit an XLV in our garage trust me i would have boat one, they had the one i wanted in the colors i wanted for 2K more with all the same options, just i have no place to store a 23 footer.

Yeah the XLV is 25 feet with the platform on. I actually have to pay an inside storage place to garage it.
