I installed a ProMariner ProSport 20 amp dual bank battery charger today. Took all of 30 minutes start to finish. This will greatly simplify my battery charging routine and will ensure that my batteries are always fully charged. It will also maximize the performance and longevity of my batteries so I think it's good investment in the long run.

wow, realy nice and clean installation as I like it...

A Thru-Hull 120v adapter would simplifiy even more your routine.

Not to forget the alternator extended longevity.

Thanks. I thought about the plug in port but decided I really didn't have anything to gain by it. I keep the boat in the garage and put the tower back up after it's in the garage so I am in the boat anyway putting stuff away.

Good point about extended alternator life as well since it always starts the day with fully charged batteries.
