I can't believe I have an HO skurfer in my garage that's in mint condition. I think I got it around 1991-92 and used it behind a bass boat.

They are too big to ship but I'd like to find an old skurfer locally and put some gator grip on top to make a kids' surf board (like Daze did- this pic is from Lake Sinclair last year).

That is a wakeboard. Skurfers were much thicker, like a surf board and a lot less stable.

You're right. The pic is of one of the early wakeboards before they had it figured out. Great kids surfboard.

I wonder what all those jealous boaters are going to think when they see you roll by with that thing in your tower rack!!!! Make sure you wear lots of neon and some of those louver sunglasses when you are riding!!!

took it out this past weekend... hitting the wake was scary as s***... tracked like a big waterski. the girlfriend has a couple pics I will try and snag sometime this week...

Geez Pickles, next thing you know you're gonna bust out the flourescent Zinka, Rayban Wayfairers and blast Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" out the back of your boat. :D

Dude, you were right there with me in the 80's and the color of my boat would go great with flourescent Zinka!
