My lake hit 95.5 degrees several days back. Not comfortable. We got some rain and some clouds and it came down on Thursday to 92. A bit more tolerable. Funny feeling dropping into the water after a long run to feel like you are in a bathtub. I will check it again in a couple of hours.

That is right. Anthing above 60 and we just jump right in. The like i really like to go is 55 but one that went to yesterday was 70. I did not know what to do with myself having water temp above 65.

Jumped in tonight after supper. Has been in the high 80's touching 90 for a while, humidity that would make florida stand up and say "hey". Gotta say that water felt r pretty darn warm!

We went to Yale on Sunday and it was a refreshing 74 on a 97 degree day

We went to Hagg on Monday and it was a warm 82 degrees and 96 degree outside.

I rather have the 74 water

Mike,

One of our temp gauges is way off. I was at Hagg on Sunday and the highest water temp I saw was 75 (air temp was mid 90's). At my brother's lake house in KS, the water temp was mid to high 80's and it was a lot warmer than Hagg. I tend to believe my temp gauge more than yours :)

Idk Al i tend to like the readings on mine and as for that its said before compared to what that water temp felt and and what it feels now seems pretty right on.

Tell ya what, we need to get out again together and compare :D

I know when the water was colder we both read the same temps.

I personally don't trust my PP temp gauge. Ii will tell you that since the humidity went away the water has cooled off considerably. Air today was 80's and water felt cool when I jumped in for my passes. Don't get me wrong with 80's for air temp the cooler feeling water was refreshing, I'm just saying that for us in the north you can tell we are on the tail end of the summer.
