Damn Steering Cable

I have a 2005 Mobius XLV, same steering problem as I am reading. Can I change it without taking seats out by running a rope through the hull and pulling it back. Has anyone tried. Thanks

I haven't had to do it on my 06 XlV yet, but I did it on my 02 Outback LS. I disconnected the cable at the rudder and tied a rope on and pulled it through. Then did the reverse for the new one. It took a little finesse, but I got it done pretty fast.
