I have a 2007 Mobius LS with a 3 blade factory prop. While cruising back on Sunday after skiing the boat/prop made a strange sound like I hit something. I backed it down and checked the prop in the water. Nothing unusual. When starting again I noticed vibration at all speeds. I checked the prop after pulling out and found a few pieces of weeds around the shaft at the front of the prop (bow side). Visually the prop looks good, no damage. I did notice about 1/4" of the shaft groove (I think for the key) visible on the shaft on the bow side of the shaft. Is this normal? I expected the entire prop to cover the grove. I looked at a mastercraft and I did not see the groove. The prop was tight against the nut so I don't think it could have moved back unless the nut become lose. Any suggestions?
