Switch on vdrive compartment seperator??

long story short what is the switch that is screwed on to my v drive compartment seperator? There is a purple plug at the end that is not plug into anything and I cant find the other end that plugs into it? Please can anybody help?
Does this have to do with my perfect pass? Maybe a starting point my my speedo is not working?

sorry the boat is on the lift at the lake. But it is an 05 moomba mobius lsv. It has black knob on the top and is attched to the throttle cable.

just did some checking from perfect pass and that is what the thing i as asking about is. It is the servo motor. Now all i need to do is find the harness that connects from the controller on the dash.
