ahhh, the wheels in my little head are turning and turning . . .

what could Newty be up to?

and it's doubly confusing to me that he wants FACTORY parts. Mike, you better head over there to make sure he's feeling OK and try to get the scoop on what he's up to.

I must not use my boat enough at night, But what and where are these courtesy lights you speak of ?

Possibly an option I don't have on my boat maybe....

It could be an option you do not have. With mine they are just in front of the rear seat on floor level on both sides. They are not that bright so I am wanting to know what evil plans are ahead.

Hillbilly, they are about 1' forward of the rear seat base and about 6" off the the ground on either side.

I've installed two more a while back that another moomba guy gave me after upgrading his. (I wish I could remember who). I'd just like to have a couple for the walkthrough.
Hows that for eevillle. I like the low profile look of them and they are not super bright, perfect for what I want.

I have a different boat that you guys, but I opened mine and pulled the little lightbulb out and in goes a 'Red' LED that fits perfect. I got them off ebay and I believe it was a T-10 standard base plug as the key word. Took about 2 weeks for delivery but plug-and-play LEDs was SWEET. I bought 8 of them to do the whole boat for about $24.

I also spliced the wires and added some modules in the cup holder area from superbriteleds.com

Enjoy your mods. Post some pics.

My 2006 does not have them so they must have been added in 2008. I think they are a standard feature, not an option, but I could be wrong.

Standard on '08s and up. Mine doesn't have them either although i'm contemplating what to put in there.

I added three after market from the dealer, not bright enough so i did Ian's LED cup holder project last summer. pretty bright now.
