I was going to wait to post until it arrived, but Joe just sent me a pic of the finished product before shipping and I couldn't wait.

I layed out the design in Photoshop and worked out the colors and tweaking with Joe over the last few weeks. I can't wait to get this thing on my boat!

Without further ado,

I know some will think it's over the top, but I really dig it, especially since the only Moomba logo on my boat is the transom decal; I think will add some flash.

how'd you get them do do something custom like that? I like it by the way :)
I talked to Chuck a couple a weeks ago about getting a transom pad built with the Moomba Logo written in it with Cool Grey over Storm grey. He indicated that they were swamped with factory work and not in a position to do stuff like that??

I worked directly with Joe, who is the CAD guy. It took longer than expected because they are swamped, I just happened to be lucky enough to have it snuck in I guess. It also cost quite a bit more to have made than a traditional pad, and does not have a warranty, because I used non-UV blue.

Thats why I wanted the chutzpah! Gotta rep the brand, this is kind of low key, in a very loud way!

That is sweet. I like the 3 color look, for sure. It is a lot of MOOMBA, but hey, now there's no question what brand of boat it is!!

Ian, I like the pad.

But, from past experience with my three color pad that had thin areas like yours, be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry carefull with the installation of that thing.

Make sure that pad is exactlly where you want it when the adhesive touches the platform, if you try to lift the pad at all at a contact point, it WILL tear.

Thanks for the tip!
