I cut a new threw hull fitting Saturday night for the new nose bag i have. I used a 1inch hole saw. I kept with the 3/4 fittings so they would match.

I think it depends on the fittings. I'm pretty sure that the Stainless fittings I used had a 1 3/8 cutout, for a 3/4 fitting.

Oh, yea. The standard size is 1" - I know this because I had to enlarge them 3/8, what a PITA!

Joe,
Why not just take the fittings with you to the hardware store and buy the right size? Or don't you have them yet? You can also get a hole saw kit from Harbor Freight for cheap that comes in a variety of sizes.
