View Full Version : My setup: Two JL audio 10" subs w/ enclosure

I just wanted to see what you guys thought of my setup, I custom built a box in the back, under the seat that can be removed. It is a custom box with two jl audio 10's in it. It is not complete yet, I am waiting for factory carpet, so I can make a panel in front of the box, so it looks stock. It sounds awesome, very loud and clean and it is down firing, so it travels through the boat very nicely.

I like it. Very cool and great use of that space on the XLV.

I was going to do the same thing with that space on my XLV.

It turned out great and is very loud, tons of bass with two 10's firing into the floor and it took up very little space. It will look even better as soon as I get the carpet to make the cover panel so it matches.

Very nice. As soon as i saw it i thought i bet hes got the XLV and yup you do. Thats one of the best uses of that space ive seen yet.

Thanks, I tried many different locations and that one seemed to work the best for my boat, because I wanted two 10's not one 12.

I love the Idea of 2 10s. I just wish I had more space to do that. Great use of space and post some more pics when finished!!

Great Job, bet is sounds great as well as being factory looking. what used to be in that space?

On a XLV, that is just empty/dead space, nothing is under the seat.

the space is designed for your own cooler, and the seat cushon comes off and is used as a seat back for the stadium seating. the space even has indents for your cooler handles

That's awesome, nice work! Wish there was a space like that in the LSV.
