EFI Indmar engine. I can not get gas out of the seperator. The filter is only 3 hours old. I have good pressure going in from the fuel pump.
The dealer said that the seperator is also a regulator and that it needs replaced. I plan to try a filter first.
Does anyone elese have a sugestion.
I'm a little nervous to take to the dealer. They didn't want to give me the time of day on the phone.

With help from Indmar I found the problem. The secondary high pressure fuel pump corroded apart. The pump is inside the PVC pipe above the water/fuel seperator. The water ate it up over a 4 year time frame.
They also told me not to hook up the water to the cooler so that this does not happen again.

just like the oil filter. fill it with fuel before installing it (better start up)

Rainmaker,
I'm in the midst of replacing my Fuel Pump / diagnosing the flow between the fuel and the carbuerator. I was wondering what you meant by "secondary" fuel pump. I only appear to have the single "Carter" fuel pump in my Indmar 350.

I also wondered what you meant when you referred to hooking it up to the water?

Thank you in advance,
Rusten
