All depends on the shape, the options, the hours and the trailer, is it a tandum axel?

The hull looks good. If the motor, tranny and v-drive are all good and the interior is in decent shape, how can you go wrong?

I agree with Kane. Open the engine bay look around for any oils on the floor. Check the oil see if its black or dark. Any light color means water in the oil and a bad head most likely.

Also check the V drive fluid same thing.

If possible get a water how to the engine crank it up and listen to see if it sounds normal.

Mostly likely this boat was bought by someone who used it the first year or so then hard times came and they knew they couldn't pay for it so striped it for the stuff they wanted and let the repo man have it back.

Can you get it in the water and test it out? If possible that's what I'd recommend. You will be able to tell a lot from that!

If solid I'd say its a great price for that boat!

Great price if everything checks out. Bags and speakers are really cheap in the scheme of things.

you have to water test it , then check the oil , the vdive, the tranny, to make sure it was winterized and no freeze damage. did ya sell your boat? did it have a tarp on it over the winter?what does the interior look like? I saw this boat before on kijiji I think...looks like a great deal if everything is ok....a good cover is prob 800

Complicated when you need to sell your old OB. Also it turns out the V-drive had to be rebuilt ....????

I wouldnt worry about the vdrive so much, but if it was a repot and all i would mostly be concerned about the engine, what if they took it and it was stored indoors and they recovered it and then put it outdoors, just have a one week test drive or a retainer of 10000. if the motor is bad.

After just going through buying a boat repos always look great but the unknowns will drive you crazy. You have to test drive it or have some record of the boats history. It is a great price for Canada, you could probable get it for less. If you can test drive it and it runs great then go from there or put the water to the bottom intake and start it and see if the fogging comes out the exhaust and you'll know if it has at lest been winterized.

I totally agree with above but alot of people dont fog which is not the end of the world but when you start the boat, see if antifreeze comes out of the exhaust at the very minimum.

Or buy mine. There is a reason that boat is cheaper.

I'll bump it up in the clasified section.

If you would consider 29K for a repo, you should consider mine. At least you would know that it was winterized by a moomba dealer every year and when the oil was changed. that is two cents from the seller
