well last night i was having a beer in the boat trying to figure out the easiest way to pull the speaker wire through the tower. Anyhow i turned the ignition on and the speed control lit up and said aquastar gps, does this meen it is the gps based zero off? cuz that is what came up when i googled it.

I couldn't see any other reason. Did you order Perfect Pass? If so I believe they went to the GPS version this year.

yeah, i ordered the boat last sept and ordered pp but not gps so maybe they just upgraded it, i thought you could program speeds into it, is that not right?

I can on my regular PP, I see no reason why an upgraded version wouldn't. In fact I thought the newer version would even set the wake plate for each rider. That might only be on Supras

I don't think it's a Perfect Pass product. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Zero Off the competitor?

That for sure isn't a Perfect Pass product, and the Zero Off is the competitor. I can't say where it's good or bad, but it isn't Perfect Pass.

I was talking to one of the boat dealers at the Novi Mi boat show, He said zero off purchased perfect pass. I know ZO is based out of the detroit area, he might be right...

I dont think that would be good as they would dominate the market then
