Woohoo, first post! I hate to clutter the boards with another prop question but I had difficulty finding the answer using the search function.

I have a 2007 Mobius LS DD with the stock prop. We need a little bit more holeshot for wakeboarding and surfing this year. I just got off the phone with both Acme and OJ. The props recommended to me were the ACME #913 and the OJ #304. Does anybody have experience with these props and care to comment? Thanks!

Well i'm questioning both Acme's and OJ's call. The Acme 913 is lited on their web site as 13x10.50 .060 cup 1" LH rotation. I could be wrong but i though all SC boats were 1 1/8 LH rotation, even the LS. The OJ #304 is listed as 13x11 .090 cup 1" as well. These are all 3-blade as well. Maybe some of the DD guys can chime in here

Yeah I didn't run across mention of either one of these part numbers in relation to our boats. Anybody have experience with these two props?

I believe the DD's have a 1" shaft, they are correct. the VD's have a 11/8"shaft

zegm got a new 4 blade prop for his 2008 LS that he is very happy with. Check his posts for the specs. That is probably the one you want.

Talk to Eric Johnson at Johnson Propeller. He knows his stuff and if he says it'll work - It'll work!!

Best if you know RPM and Speed of your existing prop.

The DD uses a 1" shaft, thus my suggestion for a 13 X 11 LC 1" 3-blade which is a good propeller for the DD 1:1 transmission wakeboard application. You could also try the 13 X 13 LC 1" FORCE 4-blade.

I was wondering too. while out doing my break in I wasn't too happy.....I have a 13x13 3 blade.....atleast that is what the numbers look like. and if i remember correctly i was told by a fellow at oj prop i would want a 14x14

The DD boats with the 1:1 transmissions cannot run the 14.25" dia. props.

Thanks Eric! My bad, I was confused after reading other recommendations regarding V-drives and other applications.

No problem. Does get confusing with all the options.

How much weight do you run in your boat? I have had about 1500# of ballast plus about 6 people in my 2001 OB DD and it is quite sluggish off the line. I am running an OJ 13x13 4 blade. I have stepped back to about 1000# of ballast this year, and with 5 people (the most I have had in my boat this year) it seems to be okay.

To this point I haven't run more than 1000# of ballast but will often have 6 people in the boat too. It is pretty sluggish when loaded up this way using the stock prop.

So I'm hoping to order one of these props this week. Does anybody have anything to add regarding OJ #304 or ACME #913?

Not knowing what these numbers stand for (and I am sure it is somewhere above) I would just like to say Eric at OJ helped us out and we love our new prop.

I guess I should say we went from a 11.5 x 13 3 blade to a 4 blade 13 x 13. We did not notice any loss of pulling power out of the hole as it seems just as strong, the rooster tail at 22 feet was almost gone, the wake flattened out a little, the NVH decreased and the top speed increased. Whats not to like about this prop.
