its a galvanized 8x8 angle building tie from Rona, but Home Depot or any lumber place should have them

2-8x8 galv angle $6 each 12
4-16.4 ft monster rca cables $5 each 20
misc nylocs ,stainless screw ,ties, connectors, loom 30

total w kingdom tax ~70

labour priceless

4 holes drilled into dash(holes in 8x8 lined up nicely), 4 holes drilled into 8x8 to mount ws420, run wires from ws to amps and one to head unit output (used multimeter to determine which one), fish wires behind amp board, run power control wire to pcont wire off of head unit , remove female red and black power wires off switch , add male to red and black ws 420 wires with new feed wire, connect to female red and black, add new female on other end of new wire and attach to stereo switch, connect power control wires, clean up with 1/2" loom and cable ties. Also run wire for remote turn on coming out head unit, thought this might get rid of small speaker turn off pop when using the main stereo power button. There is no pop when the head unit power is turned off.

Tune stereo as per instructions with ws 420 and enjoy a beer in your boat with new tunes

Special thanks to jonyb

Thanks for all the great pictures docdrs. I am getting ready to add Wet Sound tower speakers and the 420 to my boat. You really helped me out.
